If you love chocolate and coconut together in a recipe, then you will love this coconut choco latte. It is made with fresh coconut water, raw cacao and nut milk. For added flavor and texture you can also add coconut oil, raw honey or any other sweetener.
Fresh coconut water can be obtained from either a young or a mature coconut. However, young coconuts contain a lot more than the mature ones.
Raw cacao helps the body to create its own serotonin, which in turn helps to stimulate the mind and lift the mood. Coconut and coconut products have been shown to be anti-parasitic. In addition, coconut oil is beneficial for suppressing the appetite and increases energy levels naturally.
Coconut Choco Latte Ingredients:
1/3 cup Coconut Water
1/2 cup Nut milk
1/2 cup Hot Water
1-2 tbsp. Raw Cacao, depending on how much chocolate you like. (You can also do 1 tbsp. Carob Powder and 1 tbsp. Raw Cacao for a slightly sweeter chocolate flavor.)
1/2 tbsp. Honey
1/2 tbsp. Coconut Oil
Heat the water and dissolve the raw cacao, honey and coconut oil. Then add in the rest of the ingredients and blend together with a stick blender. You can also use a regular blender, which will produce more froth on top. Enjoy!
