This is a quick and easy snack idea for when you’re in a hurry or on the road. I actually enjoy this as a meal as it is high in protein that keeps me feeling full for many hours. If you add honey, you could also serve this up for a healthy dessert.
This raw food recipe not only provides energy physically, but the blueberries and matcha also help to support the functions of the mind – which is always a bonus for me. Both contain high amounts of antioxidants that remove harmful toxins from around the brain area allowing it to remain strong throughout the day.
You can mix this in a mixing bowl and serve it up in a fancy serving dish. Or, if you’re in a hurry, or don’t want to clean up a mess afterwards, you can simply eat it straight out of the yogurt container. I like to mix the matcha with the yogurt first, then keep adding the blueberries in gradually as I’m eating.
Also, I eat this without a sweetener, but if you have a sweet tooth, or if you want to serve this up for dessert then you might want to try it with some honey or any other sweetener of choice.
1 500mL container of Greek Yogurt
1 cup Blueberries
1-2 tsp. Matcha Green Tea Powder
Optional: Honey or your sweetener of choice.
Mix all ingredients and enjoy.
Variation: Instead of matcha, you can also use ginseng, maca, cacao, or any other superfood powder that you like. And instead of blueberries, try pineapples or any other fruit. I enjoy it with a combination of both blueberries and pineapple.
