A tasty lemon and apple cider vinegar nut milk recipe to help you get more apple cider vinegar into your diet. On its own apple cider vinegar is very acidic and sour tasting, but when combined with other ingredients it adds a nice flavor and extra zing to the drink. I find that it goes rather well with the nut milk and lemon.
Both apple cider vinegar and lemon juice are commonly used as weight loss remedies. They are said to help break down fats and clear the digestive tract of buildup, which then makes the weight loss process easier. They are also very beneficial for the heart as they can help to lower blood cholesterol.
1 cup Almond Nut Milk (Click here for recipe)
1/2 cup Hot Water, (to dissolve the honey)
1 tbsp. Honey
1 tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 Lemon, Juiced
Dash of Sea Salt (optional)
Make the almond nut milk according to the instructions. Heat the water and stir in the honey for it to dissolve. Then add in the rest of the ingredients and blend them either in a blender or with a stick blender. I prefer to use a stick blender because it is easier for me. You do not have to use a blender; but blending it creates a nice layer of froth on top, which I happen to enjoy.
Due the warm water, the drink is naturally warm. If you do not like warm drinks, you can add in some ice or chill in the fridge. I happen to favor warms drinks such as this over cold drinks in most cases, and they are better for the digestive system as well.
