This is my sunshine, my matcha sunshine.
It makes me happy when all else fails.
It’s got my sugar, and my caffeine,
to wake me up and cure all ails.
It’s anti-fungal, and anti-cancer.
It’s anti-parasitic too.
I’m so addicted, I just can’t help it.
It clears my head and makes me new.
So won’t you join me, in celebrating
this new recipe with me.
It’s quick and easy, and oh so healthy!
I know you’ll love it just like me.
La la la la la, la la la la la….
But no, seriously, this matcha smoothie will pick you right up. The matcha and pineapple go really well with the coconut water to give you the boost of energy you need to get yourself going in the morning, or to pick you up in the afternoon. It’s also light, making it great for the hot summer weather.
And the mango? Well it’s there to sweeten everything up. You got to have a little bit of sugar every once in a while, right? And I can’t think of a better way to enjoy a bit sweetness than in this matcha smoothie.
Matcha does have caffeine, but in small amounts. And it’s loaded with tons of anti-0xidants to improve the overall health of your body. Find more about the Health Benefits of Matcha.
So here’s the recipe, hope you’ll enjoy it:
1 cup Pineapple
1 1/2 cup Coconut Water

Blend all ingredients in a blender and enjoy. You could chill it, but I like mine at room temperature.
This recipe makes about 3 cups.
