Here is a raw recipe for a pomegranate, mango milkshake with a hint of fresh ginger. It takes a bit of work to make the milkshake because you first have to make the nut milk and juice the pomegranate seeds and ginger. To save yourself some time, however, you can easily double the recipe and store the milkshake in the fridge for a day or so.
You don’t need to add a sweetener to this milkshake because the mango and pomegranate are naturally able to provide enough sweetness.
1 cup Almond Nut Milk (How to Make Nut Milk)
1/4 cup Pomegranate Juice (about 1/2 pomegranate)
1/2 cup Mango
1/2 tsp. Ginger Juice (about 1/4 – 1/2″ ginger)
Make the nut milk according to instructions.
Juice the seeds of about one half pomegranate to make a quarter cup.
Cut up enough mango to make half a cup.
Grate the fresh ginger root and press through a fine sieve, cheesecloth or nut milk bag in order to obtain the juice.
Combine all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
