You can serve this raw cacao dip as a snack or for desert along with your favorite fruits such as pineapple, oranges, banana, strawberries and kiwi, as well as nuts such as almonds or walnuts. Or, if you like you can also eat it as a pudding, as all the ingredients are natural and healthy for you.
The dip offers a rich chocolate flavor with a hint of orange. And the agave nectar helps to take away the bitterness of the raw cacao.
The good thing about this chocolate recipe is that it is made from raw cacao, which is an excellent detoxifier. However, since it contains caffeine, it is a stimulant, and thus should be consumed in moderation.
The recipe makes about 2/3 cups.
1/2 cup Peanuts
5 tbsp. Raw Cacao
Juice of 1 med. Orange (about 7 tbsp.)
2 tbsp. Raw Agave Nectar or Sweetener of choice
In a blender, or magic bullet, grind the peanuts down. Then add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
