If you love strawberries, then you will enjoy this great-tasting apple cider vinegar nut milk. It is a tasty drink to help you increase your intake of apple cider vinegar. The vinegar does not taste so great on its own in plain water, but it adds a nice touch to the strawberry juice and nut milk.
Apple cider vinegar is an excellent home remedy that can help with many common ailments, such as heartburn, joint problems and sluggish bowel movements. It can also help to boost the immune system, which in turn can help to prevent many diseases.
As with anything else, apple cider vinegar should be consumed in moderation. It is very acidic and can harm the teeth. One way to prevent harm is to rinse the mouth with a saltwater solution in order to help restore the pH. You can also brush your teeth about 30 to 60 minutes after the consumption. You should not brush immediately as that could cause further damage.
1/2 cup Almond Nut Milk (Click here for recipe)
1/2 cup Strawberry Juice (freshly pressed)
1/2 cup Hot Water, (to dissolve the honey)
1 tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tbsp. Honey
Dash of Sea Salt Ice Cubes
Dissolve the honey in the warm water. Allow to cool while making the almond milk and strawberry juice. The strawberry juice can be made simply by running the strawberries through a juicer, or by blending them up in a blender and straining through a nut milk bag.
Add the milk, juice and apple cider vinegar to the water and honey. Blend with a stick blender until a nice layer of froth has formed on top. You can also use a regular blender if you like, but I find it easier to use a small inexpensive stick blender. You do not have to blend the ingredients, but doing so creates a nice layer of froth on top.
You also do not have to allow the warm water to cool as it contributes to a nice warm and soothing drink when used immediately. I prefer to have my drinks slightly warm because they not only help to improve digestion, but also help to calm the body and mind.
