Energizing and Filling Smoothie Recipe
Looking for something filling for breakfast? Or, a quick pick-me-up in the afternoon? Well, look no further because this smoothie is for you! The yogurt and banana are loaded with substances that will keep your tummy feeling full. And the wheatgrass, strawberries and bee pollen are loaded with nutrition to feed your cells throughout. Thus, you’ll feel full and energized for hours.
Plus, this recipe makes a lot, so you can have a cup or two for breakfast and still have enough to take with you to work, class or the gym.
Since I’ve taken wheatgrass for so long now I really am no longer offended by the awful taste that it presents. And so I find this smoothie to be a delicious one. But if you’re new to the green stuff, you can always use less or add a bit of protein powder to help mask the taste.
Recipe makes about 6 cups.
2 cups strawberries
1 1/2 cups plain yogurt
1 scoop wheatgrass powder
1/2 tsp. bee pollen
3 cups vanilla flavored almond milk
Mix all ingredients together in a blender. Blend well and enjoy!
Makes about 6 cups of deliciousness.
