This tangy tropical lemonade is perfect for quenching the thirst on a hot summer’s day. It is a bit time consuming to juice all the individual juices required for this lemonade, but the efforts are well worth it. You could make the lemonade from store-bought juices, but it would not be the same because most of those are generally processed and contain unhealthy ingredients.
The lemonade is loaded with vitamins and other nutrients that can help to eliminate the need for food on a hot day. Food doesn’t always agree with the body when the weather gets hot and can make it more difficult to deal with the heat. Drinking juice still allows you to get your nutrients without your digestive system having to work hard. As a result, your body will be able to tolerate the heat better.
Lemonade Recipe Ingredients:
1 cup Pineapple Juice
1 cup Mango Juice
1 cup Orange Juice
2/3 cup Pomegranate Juice (about 2 pomegranates)
1 cup Lemon Juice (about 4-5 lemons)
1/8 cup Raw Honey
1 cup Warm Water (to dissolve honey)
4 cups Cold Water
Juice the pineapple, mango and orange in a juicer. You can also juice the lemon in a juicer if you remove the seeds first. The pomegranate seeds can be pulsed in a blender and then strained with a nut milk bag or a fine sieve.
Next, heat the water and stir in the honey to dissolve.
Pour all ingredients into a large pitcher and enjoy. Fruit juices are always best when consumed immediately after juicing; however, you can chill the juice in a closed pitcher for a few hours if desired. You can also add ice to the juice and consume immediately.
